Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting firm delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. We seek a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed services that power critical workloads from a remote position.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in backend engineering, deep distributed systems knowledge, and strong coding skills in Java/Go/Scala.

Competenze

• Ten+ years of professional backend engineering experience, with distributed systems focus.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or Scala; experience with high-throughput services.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, including consensus, replication, CAP trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience operating systems at scale, including capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and mentorship skills.

Mansioni

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems using Java, Go, Scala, or similar languages.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies.
• Build resilient APIs and event-driven services with observability and idempotency.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and cost with profiling and load testing.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and drive quality and operational rigor.
• Partner with SRE and platform teams to improve reliability and reduce toil.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks.
