Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an AMR Safety Lead to own the functional safety of the AMR product line. You will guide safety across software, hardware and services, mentor engineers, and drive compliance with ISO/IEC standards. This remote role partners with global teams and travels up to 10% as needed.

The role requires a background in functional safety, certification, and strong collaboration with product management and engineering to deliver safe, reliable AMR solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA.
• Availability for travel up to 10% of the time domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional safety expertise across multiple teams during all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Work with safety leads of different departments to align AMR with safety guidelines and regulatory needs.
• Define and improve AMR safety policies and processes across the business.
• Participate on standards committees to ensure product portfolio supports business outcomes.
• Lead the AMR safety strategy with cross-functional collaboration across systems, product management, engineering, services, and operations.
• Mentor engineers and technical leaders on hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety requirements.
