Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an AMR Safety Lead to own the functional safety of the AMR Business’ products. You will align safety across software, hardware, and services, and collaborate with Rockwell safety engineers globally to ensure consistent implementation.

Remote work from Michigan, Ohio or Rhode Island is supported. The role requires leadership in hazard analysis, risk assessment, safety requirements development, and staying current with ISO 3691-4, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, IEC 61508 and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
• Availability for travel up to 10% of the time domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional safety expertise across product lifecycle.
• Align safety policies with Rockwell guidelines and standards.
• Lead safety standards committees and represent the company.
• Mentor engineers on hazard analysis and safety requirements.
• Oversee residual risk management and safety documentation.
• Investigate safety incidents and report findings.
