Job summary

Advanced Manufacturing Tech Solutions (AMTSOL) seeks a Rockwell Automation Lead Engineer / Technical Manager to provide senior technical leadership for PLC/SCADA systems in GMP environments. You will own design, configuration, integration, and lifecycle support, while ensuring compliance with CSV/GAMP5 and regulatory requirements.

You will lead a cross-functional team across operations, quality and IT/OT, driving continuous improvement, validation activities and cybersecurity alignment.

Qualifications

• Degree in automation, control, electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Extensive senior-level experience with Rockwell platforms (ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk).
• Leadership experience directing automation teams in GMP regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of CSV/GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 data integrity.
• Understanding of change control, OT cybersecurity and system lifecycle management.
• Experience with C&Q/CQV and ISA-88 batch is advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Rockwell automation systems (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, FactoryTalk).
• Own design, configuration, integration and lifecycle support of PLC/SCADA systems in GMP settings.
• Act as senior technical authority for Rockwell platforms (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk).
• Manage automation delivery end‑to‑end: planning, resourcing, scheduling and vendor coordination.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause resolution to minimise downtime.
• Drive CSV/GAMP5 activities per FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11.
• Oversee change control, backup/restore, patching and OT cybersecurity.
• Define and maintain automation standards, documentation and tests.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate across operations, IT/OT and vendors.
• Support commissioning, qualification and start‑up activities.
