Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an AMR Safety Lead to ensure the functional safety of our AMR products. You will guide safety alignment across software, hardware, and services, reporting to the Electrical and Safety Manager, while collaborating with global teams from a remote location in the US.

You will mentor engineers, lead safety investigations, and drive compliance with ISO and IEC standards. Travel up to 10% may be required, and a BS in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Authorized to work in the USA; no visa sponsorship.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional safety expertise across multiple teams during all product lifecycle phases.
• Align AMR safety policies with Rockwell safety guidelines.
• Define and improve AMR safety strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in standards committees to ensure compliant product portfolios.
• Mentor engineers on hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety requirements.
• Lead investigations into safety incidents and report findings.
• Drive interpretation of evolving standards (ISO 3691-4, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, IEC 61508).
