Job summary

Housing Alliance HTX is seeking a Lead Relocation Specialist in Houston to oversee relocation services for residents affected by redevelopment and other agency initiatives. You will lead staff, coordinate housing transitions, and ensure compliance with URA and HUD requirements while maintaining resident-centered service.

You will supervise relocation staff, coordinate vendor services, track timelines, and communicate progress to management.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with residents in public housing contexts is preferred.
• Knowledge of URA and HUD relocation requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination of relocation services and housing transitions.
• Manage resident intake, eligibility, and move-in coordination with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with landlords, vendors, and community partners to secure housing options.
• Monitor finances, documentation, and program reporting to ensure compliance.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and respectful service throughout relocation.
