Job summary

TEKsystems in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Release Train Engineer to coordinate delivery across agile teams and stakeholders within the Enterprise Program Management Office. You will drive alignment to program objectives, manage delivery health, and support governance and intake processes.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in large IT programs, 3+ years as an RTE in Agile, and Jira/Confluence experience. This contract-to-hire role is hybrid on-site with a pay range of $75–$90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, CS, IS, or Communications.
• 7+ years managing large-scale IT programs with budgets up to $5M.
• 3+ years as Release Train Engineer in an Agile environment.
• 3+ years managing programs across Agile/Waterfall SDLC.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across project, scrum, technology, business, and vendor teams to align delivery to OKRs.
• Manage program budgets, including tracking actuals vs. forecast and funding reporting.
• Oversee demand intake within the PDLC framework and capacity alignment.
• Facilitate risk, dependency, and conflict resolution with proper escalation.
• Guide project managers and scrum masters to align with delivery standards and goals.
• Identify and remove impediments impacting timelines.
• Assess program risks and communicate issues to portfolio leadership.
• Deliver weekly updates, health reporting, and monthly portfolio reviews.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and enterprise delivery frameworks.
