Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Release Manager to coordinate enterprise releases across multiple teams and domains. You will lead planning, dependency management, and governance, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes and SAFe practices. This role requires strong collaboration with Product Owners, Change, and Incident teams to maintain service stability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/engineering/business.
• 8+ years in IT service management, release management, or SAFe delivery.
• Experience coordinating large multi-team releases and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and execute enterprise releases across teams and domains.
• Lead release planning, sequencing, and dependency management.
• Work with Change Manager to enforce agency processes and lifecycles.
• Facilitate PI planning with Product Owners for 3–6 month plans.
• Align release schedules with stakeholders and outages.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and resolve conflicts.
• Coordinate with incident management for continuity and DR readiness.
• Track progress using dashboards and SAFe/Agile metrics.
• Support Agile and SAFe practices across teams for improvements.
• Maintain release documentation and audit-ready artifacts.
