Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Project Leader within SW Release to own and drive software releases across vehicle programs. You will coach colleagues, lead improvements, and strengthen Release Leader practices while delivering high-quality software on time.

You will collaborate with Engineering stakeholders, coach other leaders, and shape the Release Leader capability to scale with future challenges. A delivery-minded leader who fosters a collaborative, proactive culture will thrive here.

Qualifications

• MSc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience from large-scale software development and delivery organizations.
• Proven experience leading complex projects, transformations, or organizational change initiatives.
• Experience within software release management, software integration, or software program leadership.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Swedish Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate software releases through the complete release process.
• Drive planning, prioritization, issue resolution, and release readiness activities.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Engineering to ensure successful deliveries.
• Act as a senior Release Leader and role model within the team.
• Coach and mentor other Release Leaders, sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Drive improvements to ways of working, release governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead selected improvement and transformation initiatives within the Release Leader community.
• Contribute to building a strong Release Leader culture focused on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Help strengthen the team’s overall capability and prepare the Release Leader function for future challenges.
