Job description

We are seeking a proactive Release Manager / Delivery Lead to support the delivery of innovative technology initiatives within a global environment. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across cross‑functional teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned to timelines and business objectives.

You will work closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and operations teams to manage release cycles, drive process improvements, and ensure smooth deployment of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage end‑to‑end release cycles for software delivery
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, Architecture) to ensure successful release execution
• Maintain and manage release calendars, timelines, and dependencies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align release plans and priorities
• Monitor release progress and communicate status, risks, and issues to leadership
• Conduct release retrospectives and root cause analysis (RCA), and track resolution actions
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting delivery timelines or quality
• Maintain release documentation and update artifacts post‑release
• Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage workflows and help streamline processes across teams
• Maintain delivery data in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams
• Participate in broader software delivery lifecycle activities, including planning, estimation, and process development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in release or delivery management using Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of experience in technology or software delivery environments
• Experience conducting release retrospectives and root cause analyses (RCA)
• Experience maintaining and updating release documentation and artifacts
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment
• Willingness to work across distributed teams and travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, similar platforms)
• Understanding of DevOps practices and release automation
• Experience working in global or multi‑timezone environments
