NeighborWorks America is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (remote) to support a portfolio of NWOs across the United States. The role requires deep knowledge of nonprofit management, capacity building, and board governance.

You will engage executive leadership, boards, and partners to foster organizational development and effective strategy implementation. The position emphasizes data-driven decisions, performance assessment, and strategic visioning to strengthen NWOs and expand impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit management and board governance.
• Experience in housing or community development is highly valued.
• Outcome-based performance measurement experience is preferred.
• Financial statement analysis experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Project management and multitasking abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management of network organizations and stakeholder engagement.
• Guide NWOs in using NeighborWorks resources and connect to experts.
• Use data and market analysis to support portfolio decisions.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach to solutions for NWOs.
• Develop and implement capacity-building strategies for organizations.
• Support board governance and train boards as needed.
• Evaluate funding requests for alignment with goals.
• Collaborate on strategic planning beyond compliance remediation.
