Busey Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker II to provide advanced customer service and sales expertise within the branch. You will handle complex transactions, open and maintain accounts, and support both routine and lending activities while guiding customers toward appropriate financial solutions.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, regulatory compliance, and mentoring of staff, with opportunities for cross-selling across mortgage, wealth, treasury, and commercial banking lines.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma.
• 2 years of banking experience with lending responsibilities required.
• 1 year of previous training and/or combination of mentorship, military or management experience required.
• Pursuant to SAFE Act, all Relationship Bankers (if lending) must maintain NMLS registration.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Greet and engage customers, providing exceptional service to build lasting relationships.
• Actively identify and promote all bank products and services through needs-based conversations.
• Open and manage personal and business accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Process loan applications, gather documents, and coordinate with loan officers to ensure smooth approvals.
• Handle transactions with accuracy, balance cash drawer, and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, monitor for fraud, protect customer data.
