Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a service-oriented Retail Banker to deliver an industry-leading client experience in person and over the phone. You will grow client relationships by offering financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to partners.

You may assist with teller duties as needed. You will participate in established leadership routines and continuously improve knowledge of sales techniques and products to better serve consumer and business clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of client sales and service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and cross-sell.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine client maintenance requests and problem resolution.
• Support meeting sales targets by developing, expanding and retaining client relationships.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists as appropriate.
• Participate in leadership routines and team activities.
• Attend training to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Provide a courteous, knowledgeable client experience during transactions.
