Job summary

Truist Wealth in Montezuma, GA seeks a Regular status Banking Associate to deliver exceptional client service in person and by phone, developing and expanding client relationships and offering financial solutions. The role may include teller duties as needed.

Responsibilities include handling client maintenance requests, contributing to sales targets, and referring complex needs to specialists while ensuring compliance and a positive, seamless client experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliance within 30 days of employment and ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and weekend/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit and other service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by expanding relationships.
• Supports sales process by consulting with clients and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
• Engages clients with friendly service during transactions and helps them navigate the branch.
