Job summary

Truist in the United States (Ashland, VA) is seeking a Senior Relationship Banker to expand client relationships and provide financial solutions through consultative conversations. The role may include teller duties as needed and requires strong sales and service skills.

Responsibilities include advising on lending options, achieving sales targets, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and policies. Benefits and incentive pay are available for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service and develop new and existing client relationships.
• Meet or exceed client service and sales targets by offering products and services.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists for growth opportunities.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and ongoing training.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with policies and risk management standards.
• Lead branch sales initiatives and act as a resource for the team.
• Deliver courteous, confident service while conducting transactions.
