Job summary

Truist in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a customer-focused Relationship Banker to deliver excellent service in person and by phone. You will develop and expand client relationships, offer financial solutions, and refer complex needs to internal specialists. You may also assist with teller duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets.
• Supports team sales process by referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances sales knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience and assists with teller transactions when needed.
