Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Relationship Banker in Arlington, VA, for regular shifts in a branch setting. You will develop and expand client relationships, offer financial solutions, and collaborate with internal partners to grow the business. Prior client sales and service experience is essential.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to travel for staffing needs. Attending training and maintaining regulatory compliance are expected throughout employment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment and pass NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints and travel to accommodate staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by expanding relationships.
• Refers complex client needs to internal specialists via consultative conversations.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attends sales, service and product knowledge trainings to grow knowledge and skills.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with policies and risk management guidelines.
• Engages clients to provide a consistent service experience during transactions.
