Job summary

Banco Santander SA in Derby, CT is seeking a Banking Center Senior Relationship Banker to lead daily customer service, sales, and operations. You will support the Banking Center Manager, ensure an exceptional client experience, and drive growth with existing clients and new prospects.

The role requires 3–4 years of customer service and needs-based banking sales experience, 0–2 years of supervisory exposure, and solid product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all products and services; familiarity with branch systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banking Center Manager with achievement of banking center sales, customer service, P&L management, operations, and employee development.
• Assume responsibility for the banking center in the Manager’s absence and ensure exceptional client experience.
• Aim to achieve/exceed individual sales, service & operations targets.
• Process routine banking transactions accurately and prepare/open client accounts.
• Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the bank brand.
• Document activities using lead management tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Support segmentation strategy with existing clients to grow branch profitability.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with laws and bank policies.
• Mentor colleagues and model leadership in sales/service processes.
