Job summary

Santander Bank in Derby, CT seeks a Banking Center Senior Relationship Banker to support the Banking Center Manager, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will process routine transactions, open client accounts, and build relationships with customers to grow deposits and cross-sell products.

The role requires customer-service excellence, knowledge of bank products, and the ability to travel among local Banking Centers within the region.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Working knowledge of all products and services
• Keeps current with systems used for branch transaction processing

Responsibilities

• Assist Banking Center Manager with achievement of banking center sales, customer service, P&L management, operations and employee development
• Respond to customers' needs by processing routine banking transactions and opening accounts
• Build COIs by networking and prospecting to propagate the bank brand and create value
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and bank policies and procedures
