Citi is seeking a seasoned Senior Architectural and Engineering Lead to drive the vision, design, and execution of our regulatory big data and core application frameworks that power regulatory reporting across the enterprise.

You will lead a high-performing core technology team focused on scalable, enterprise-grade frameworks supporting a broad suite of regulatory reporting apps, integrating AI/ML to streamline onboarding of evolving regulations, and collaborating with product, operations, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior architectural/engineering role
• 5+ years leading enterprise architecture in financial services
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial data structures

Responsibilities

• Lead core framework ownership for Java-based systems
• Build and optimize big data pipelines using Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Databricks
• Set architectural governance and participate in ARBs
• Evaluate designs for performance, security, and scalability
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning across teams
