Citi is seeking a senior technology leader to drive the transformation of a cutting-edge, agentic AI platform in the Jersey City area. You will partner with quantitative analysts and stakeholders to define impactful use cases and then lead a team of developers to design, build, and deploy the platform that powers end-to-end credit risk model development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on software engineering experience designing and shipping scalable systems.
• Demonstrable experience in AI agentic solutions for ad hoc data analysis, documentation, and workflow orchestration.
• Proven software development team leadership including mentorship, architecture guidance, and project oversight.
• Deep proficiency in Python and its ecosystem for backend development and data processing, plus modern AI frameworks such as LangChain.
• Hands-on experience building apps with large language models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic patterns.
• Strong architectural skills with system design, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into concrete technical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with quantitative model developers, MRM, and business leaders to translate pain points into a technical vision and roadmap.
• Identify, scope, and prioritize use cases for the agentic platform and align with strategic objectives.
• Serve as the technical liaison between the engineering team and users to ensure alignment and feedback.
• Lead architectural design of a scalable, secure agentic AI platform with orchestration, retrieval, and tool integration.
• Contribute hands-on development to build core components and proofs-of-concept.
• Design secure integrations with internal data sources and external APIs while ensuring governance.
• Establish CI/CD, testing, logging, and monitoring for an enterprise-grade app.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire engineers; enforce code quality and agile processes.
• Manage timelines, resources, and delivery of platform milestones.
