Job summary

The Regulatory Operations Consultant (ROC) role at City National Bank of Florida supports the Bank's first-line risk management by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational and regulatory risks across the branch network and other frontline units.

The ROC conducts onsite control assessments, transaction QA reviews, and escalation of risk events and control deficiencies with coaching and guidance to staff.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Retail Banking.
• Working knowledge of bank operations and processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, coaching, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Excellent follow-up with attention to detail and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unannounced onsite banking-center assessments and monthly transaction quality assurance reviews.
• Evaluate the execution of operational controls and review supporting documentation and logs.
• Identify and document control deficiencies, policy deviations, risk trends, and root causes with actions.
• Analyze recurring findings and recommend improvements to controls, training, documentation, and reporting.
• Monitor corrective actions and escalate overdue remediation.
• Maintain complete assessment and testing documentation and evidence.
• Communicate results to stakeholders and provide risk-based coaching.
