Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions, LLC is seeking a Staff Attorney to support the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel with drafting legal documents and templates, managing corporate records, and conducting legal research. The role requires translating Navitus’ values into CQI activities and guiding staff on policy implications.

You will analyze statutes and contracts, keep records, and assist in developing new initiatives from a legal perspective.

Qualifications

• Completion of a law degree from an accredited program is required.
• License to practice law in Wisconsin is preferred.
• 5 years of legal experience required.
• Participation in, adherence to, and support of compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Legal Officer and Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, in drafting legal documents and templates.
• Manage document templates and corporate legal records; perform records and legal research; prepare correspondence under limited supervision.
• Promote Navitus and SSM Health values and integrate them into CQI activities.
• Provide guidance on legal issues to inform the organization’s direction and impact.
• Advise staff on legal implications of business objectives and policies.
• Research statutes, judicial decisions, contracts, and legal codes; file legal documents in filing systems; develop processes for indexing and filing.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent

Wisconsin bar license preferred
