Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks a regulatory specialist to train internal and external clients and oversee government notices processing. You will coordinate research projects, generate reports from trend analyses, and ensure compliance with customs regulations and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business.
• Four years of brokerage work experience required.
• Broker's License required.
• QDM Apprentice required.
• Thorough knowledge of customs regulations and Harmonized Tariff Schedule; knowledge of federal agency laws, regulations and procedures governing the customs brokerage industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth, high level training for internal and external customers.
• Oversee handling of government notices by team members for timely processing.
• Review, assist with or assign research projects within the department.
• Create reports and action plans from department trend analysis and system data.
• Engage in system updates, reporting and analysis for regulatory functions.
• Maintain and review all customs compliance documentation with customers.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and collaborate with Legal for internal publications.
• Work with multiple departments and government agencies to deliver high-quality service.
