Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a Manager, Regulatory Compliance to lead a team of regulatory professionals responsible for brokerage compliance and guidance within FedEx's customs brokerage operations. The role combines people management with substantive regulatory expertise, serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues.

You will monitor regulatory developments, draft responses, oversee bond obligations, and coordinate with CBP and Partner Government Agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, trade, law, or related field.
• Licensed Customs Broker strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees compliance activities related to FedEx Logistics' customs bond obligations as an importer of record.
• Manages a regulatory team across multiple locations with coaching and development.
• Performs regulatory analysis and drafts penalty petitions and enforcement responses.
• Interprets and communicates regulatory requirements to internal partners.
• Engages with customers to resolve government notices and CBP matters.
• Monitors regulatory developments and communicates updates to stakeholders.
• Reviews and implements compliance procedures in response to new regulations.
• Ensures SOX compliance reviews and controls testing in assigned areas.
