Job summary

University of California, Santa Cruz is seeking an Associate Registrar, Systems to lead multi-faceted student records systems development within the Office of the Registrar. You will coordinate AIS functionality, partner with ITS, and guide analysts to deliver accurate, timely systems aligned with campus needs.

You will mentor Regsys staff, manage complex reporting via SQL, and drive process improvements across student records, degree audit, and residency functions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Progressively responsible project management experience.
• Advanced business/process analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with SQL, PS Query or Business Objects for ad hoc reporting.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex student records systems analysis and planning.
• Manage AIS-related production support with incident handling.
• Provide leadership and supervision to Registrar staff.
• Develop training and documentation for registrar systems.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA and data privacy practices.
