Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services across one or more long-term care facilities. You will lead clinical operations, coordinate with teams, and ensure residents receive compliant, high-quality nutrition care.

This role requires RD credentials, leadership, and experience in long-term care, with responsibilities spanning meal planning, compliance, and staff development. Join a team dedicated to improving resident health and experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by the state.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of Registered Dietitians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health and well-being.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
