Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services in a long-term care facility. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and document in the electronic medical record.

You will provide nutrition education to residents and families, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure CMS and state regulations, and cover multiple buildings as needed. This role offers flexible schedules and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of nutrition care regulations and surveys (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude; effective communication with staff and leadership.
• Vaccination policies per state/local/customers may apply.
• If multi-site, valid driver's license required.
• RD-Eligible with provisional licensure accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutrition needs and document plan in EMR.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
