Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role features Monday–Friday schedules with flexible options and opportunities to impact resident care.

Responsibilities include assessing nutrition needs, developing care plans, educating residents and staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes while complying with CMS/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state/local customers.
• If multi-site RD, must have a valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings and labs.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health and wellbeing.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
