Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services across multiple long-term care facilities.

You will develop individualized meal plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor residents' nutritional progress while guiding a team of dietitians. You'll provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff, coordinate recruitment and scheduling with the Director of Clinical Operations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret dining service cost reports and financial data.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance as required by state/local/customers.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 10 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of Registered Dietitians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
