Job summary

DENSO in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Regional Warehouse Operations to lead all warehouse and distribution activities for a regional logistics operation. You will drive inventory management, receiving, storage, shipping, planning, and customer transitions while advancing continuous improvement initiatives to support growth and service levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of warehouse, distribution center, or logistics operations experience.
7+ years of progressive people leadership experience managing supervisors, managers, and/or large hourly workforces.
Experience leading warehouse operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Experience managing inventory control, shipping, receiving, materials planning, and distribution functions.
Proven ability to develop operational strategies and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets, capital expenditures, and cost reduction initiatives.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple business functions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Plans, directs, and monitors all warehouse areas to provide inputs, materials, and services for current and future operations.
Develops and implements materials handling procedures; optimizes resources and standards for cost, timeliness, safety.
Interprets inventory requests and schedules to coordinate materials with demand.
Collaborates with sales, production, and engineering to meet current and future needs.
Creates operating and capital budgets; participates in business planning and cost containment strategies.
Oversees transition of new customers to the facility and coordinates with quality functions for compliance.
Leads HR activities including time tracking, coaching, scheduling, and performance development.
Drives Kaizen direction with Sales and IT; fosters safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
