Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Sr. Regional Operations Manager to lead a team of regional ops managers across inspections and quality control. You will use data to drive decisions, coach staff, and partner with sales and marketplace teams to meet regional goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of leadership in operations and 2+ years in automotive mechanics, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. This role is based in Carmel, IN with regional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years proven leadership experience.
• Minimum 2+ years automotive mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Regional Operations Managers.
• Ensure inspection policies and SLAs are followed by the team.
• Help drive sales growth by fostering dealer relationships with OPENLANE sales team.
• Assist in hiring inspectors within regions.
• Collaborate with Marketplace and Commercial Sales Team leadership for regional success.
• Train inspectors on OPENLANE applications and processes.
• Complete VOC and eNPS feedback calls as necessary.
• Use data to identify inspector trends, capacity, quality, and consistency.
