Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Sr. Regional Operations Manager for the Midwest, with responsibility to lead a team of Regional Operations Managers across Detroit, Columbus, Louisville, and Lexington.

You will oversee inspection processes, quality standards, and staffing, while driving regional success through data-driven decisions and strong dealer relationships. You will hire inspectors, train teams on OPENLANE applications, and collaborate with sales, scheduling, and product leadership to optimize

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of proven leadership experience.
• Must have 2+ years of automotive mechanical experience.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of technology used for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Regional Operations Managers and own the inspection team OKRs.
• Ensure inspection policies, processes, and tools are followed to meet regional SLAs and targets.
• Foster dealer relationships and collaboration with OPENLANE sales to drive growth.
• Hire inspectors (contractors or full-time) within regions and train them on OPENLANE apps and workflows.
• Use data to improve capacity, quality, and consistency; identify trends and opportunities.
