Job summary

Terracon is seeking a billing coordinator to manage project registrations, invoicing, collections and procurement for a range of engineering projects. You will work closely with Project Managers to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with contracts and internal controls.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience with billing platforms. A degree in related field is preferred, with a drive to mentor teammates and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 4+ years of related experience or 6 years’ related experience in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accurate and timely project registration, billing, collection and procurement practices.
• Prepare timely billing for routine and non-routine projects in line with agreements and deadlines.
• Maintain electronic project files with contracts, budgets and invoices.
• Manage budgeting, changes, and potential overages in collaboration with Project Managers.
• Perform routine collections activities and communicate with clients on past due invoices.
• Ensure billing accuracy, internal approvals, and proper backup attachments.
