Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Senior Regional Engineering Manager to drive game-changing operational strategies across multiple plants. You will lead Engineering teams, oversee capital projects, and deliver technical improvements to sustain high-performance meat production.

You will influence production technologies, ensure safe, compliant operations, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in team management or project leadership.
• Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational/design issues.
• PM skills; contract administration; interpret national codes/standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel ~50% to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams across multiple plants to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage capital/expense plans and project engineering resources.
• Provide technical leadership for production technologies and improvements.
