Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and documented evidence of education.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible solid waste or recycling collection experience; supervisory level experience of at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of the Collections and Customer Service Division, comprising 148 FTE.
• Maintain budget controls and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with Safety Officer to reduce accidents and injuries; ensure compliance with local and state waste laws.
• Partner with stakeholders on innovative projects to improve city waste services.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
