Job summary

Collins Aerospace Pueblo site is seeking an onsite Refurbishment Leader to oversee the Refurbishment team, drive process improvements, and supervise multiple staff in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will monitor key parameters, lead initiatives, and coordinate with engineering to enhance equipment, safety, and cost savings.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, participation in 24/7 operations, and driving Lean CORE manufacturing practices while ensuring documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in managing and supervising operations teams in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc)

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment team to meet customer needs with high standards and engagement.
• Actively monitor key process parameters and take appropriate action.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify process and equipment trends and take action.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve equipment, processes, safety, and cost savings.
• Supervise several support staff and production personnel.
• Oversee projects and monitor production requirements.
• Propose and manage medium-large scale projects (>$250k) at moderate to complex level.
• Ensure department documentation is clear and accurate (SOPs, work instructions, forms).
• Drive CORE (Lean) manufacturing processes through flow and automation improvements.
• Monitor engineering requests and ensure CORE site compliance.
