Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent plus 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in managing and supervising operations teams in manufacturing.
• Experience using continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Refurbishment team to meet customer needs with high standards.
• Actively monitor key process parameters and take action when required.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify process and equipment trends and act accordingly.
• Collaborate with other departments and engineers to improve equipment, processes, safety, and cost savings.
• Supervise several support staff and production personnel.
• Oversee projects and monitor production requirements.
• Propose and manage medium-large scale projects (> $250k) at moderate to complex level.
• Ensure department documentation is clear and accurate (SOPs, work instructions, etc.).
• Drive CORE manufacturing processes through flow and automation improvements.
• Monitor engineering requests through equipment and processes.
• Support 24/7 operations and department CORE.
