Collins Aerospace is seeking a seasoned manufacturing and industrial engineering leader to oversee a team of engineers and programmers. You will drive process standards, lean initiatives, and capital projects to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost.

This onsite U.S.-based role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and experience scaling operations across functions worldwide; salary range 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program.
• 4+ years of manufacturing/industrial engineering experience.
• 4+ years in technical leadership.
• 3+ years experience with Lean or Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels; strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, industrial engineers, and machine programmers.
• Own technical process standards, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation; drive process optimization.
• Lead time studies, labor standards development, and capacity modeling; optimize plant layout and workflow.
• Oversee CNC, robotic, and automated equipment programming and optimization.
• Serve as technical escalation point for production issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Support capital projects and cross-functional collaboration across Operations.
