Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Project Engineer to drive technical leadership and coordinate multi-discipline engineering activities in support of propulsion components and subsystems. This onsite role requires coordinating with engineering teams, program management, and stakeholders to deliver design, tests, and certification work.
You will manage plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience coordinating production support within aerospace engineering is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills in physics, dynamics, and statics; experience reading 2D PDFs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-discipline engineering activities at the project level to support the Project Chief Engineer.
- Ensure integration of mechanical, electrical, software, and other discipline teams to meet requirements and interfaces.
- Develop detailed project plans, task breakdowns, schedules, and cost estimates for engineering scope.
