Job summary

GE Vernova invites a Senior Refuel Floor Specialist (Project Manager) to lead and supervise BWR refuel floor outages, including disassembly, in‑vessel maintenance, and reassembly. You will own outages from ITO through OTR and coordinate GVH and contractor teams, driving safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires up to 70% travel domestically and internationally, with remote work possible for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent with 8 years in BWR refuel floor outage maintenance.
• OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 10 years in BWR refuel floor outage maintenance.
• Experience as Refuel Floor Lead Technical Director, PM, Outage Manager, or equivalent.
• Project management experience and willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact and ownership for Refuel Floor tasks for GVH outage scope.
• Manage all aspects of the Refuel Floor project from ITO through OTR, including communications, risk, and forecasting.
• Provide planning leadership, transition planning, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.
• Lead and coach multi-disciplinary teams including GVH and contingent personnel.
• Supervise union and non-union personnel performing Refuel Floor outage work.
• Contribute to proposals by providing input on labor, tooling, and logistics.
• Interact with senior customer and supplier management on commercial, execution, and regulatory issues.
• Support Product Line activities including proposal development and training delivery.
• Provide SME on reactor maintenance, in vessel tooling, and GVH OEM equipment.
• Demonstrate GE Beliefs: integrity, nuclear safety, and quality culture.
