Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets and food-service locations. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs, and restore equipment to proper operation while communicating with customers and documenting required paperwork.

Required: 5–7 years in supermarket refrigeration, EPA 608 certification, high school diploma, valid

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5–7 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration.
EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II minimum; Universal preferred).
Valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain supermarket refrigeration systems.
Respond to service calls and troubleshoot rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs.
Restore equipment to proper operating condition and report follow-up needs.
Participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays).
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Communicate with customers, technicians, and service staff.
Complete and submit all required paperwork daily.
Maintain truck stock inventory.
Perform other duties as assigned.
