Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Mid-Level Service Tech to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and ice machines in supermarkets and food service locations. You will perform preventive maintenance and ensure operational efficiency while completing necessary paperwork and documentation.

The role requires EPA 608 certification, 2+ years of field experience, and a willingness to work long hours with on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification (608 type I and II or Universal) required.
• 2+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.
• Clean driver’s license/record.
• Technical school certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Complete paperwork and follow customer documentation procedures.
• Take lead when more than one technician is needed for a job.
• Be willing to work long hours, participate in on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.
