Job summary

Dover Food Retail (AMS Division) is seeking aSenior Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems installed in supermarkets, convenience stores, and food service establishments. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs, and restore equipment to proper operating condition.

The role requires 5–7 years in supermarket refrigeration, EPA 608 certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II minimum; Universal preferred).
• Valid state-issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls as directed.
• Troubleshoot and repair rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs.
• Restore equipment to proper operating condition.
• Report follow-up needs to dispatch, leads, and managers.
• Participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with customers, technicians, and service staff.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork and packing slips daily.
• Maintain truck stock inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
