Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mid-Level Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and ice machines for supermarkets and food service locations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, complete required paperwork, and collaborate with team members to ensure minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction. A valid EPA certification and at least 2 years of field experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driver’s license/record.
• EPA Certification, EPA 608 minimum types I and II or Universal.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the diagnosis and repair and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.
• Certification from technical school or equivalent experience a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and ice machines installed in supermarkets, convenience stores, and food service establishments.
• Perform diagnosis and repair on conventional and rack refrigeration systems, evaporative and air-cooled condensers, ice machines, water pumps, compressors, air handlers, electric motors, and all types of HVAC units.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operating efficiencies and minimize downtime for customers.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and adhere to customer documentation procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
