Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) Senior Service Technician role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and food service venues. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot rack systems, HVAC units, and VFDs, and manage daily paperwork.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5–7 years in supermarket refrigeration, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II minimum; Universal preferred).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs.
• Report follow-up needs to dispatch, leads, and managers.
• Maintain truck stock inventory.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork and packing slips daily.
