Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring a field service technician skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration, HVAC equipment, and ice machines installed in supermarkets and food service locations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, a clean driving record, and at least two years' experience; a technical school credential is a plus. Long hours and on-call rotation are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 certification (I & II or Universal A) required/plus.
• Minimum 2 years' experience diagnosing and repairing commercial refrigeration or HVAC equipment.
• Technical school certification or equivalent experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner following procedures.
• Take lead when a second technician is needed and work on-call including nights/weekends/holidays.
