Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent required.
• Medical Terminology knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes entry of referrals and/or authorizations into EHR.
• Coordinates follow-up care with the referral as the referral expires.
• Schedule appointments, diagnostic testing and procedures related to referrals.
• Verifies insurance information and payer requirements.
• Ensures Primary Care provider is accurate per payer guidelines.
