Job summary

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement – Business Transformation Leader to drive structured problem solving across our Aiken, SC and Anniston, AL facilities.

The role offers full-time remote work with occasional site collaboration and requires commuting distance to CMS sites. You will lead Red X, lean and Six Sigma programs, coach teams to Black/Green Belt proficiency, and establish KPIs to measure impact while guiding change across manufacturing and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field with eight years of related experience.
• Shainin Red X certification; minimum Journeyman.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Red X, Lean and Continuous Improvement concepts, systems, methodologies and tools.
• Experience leading complex issues and facilitating root‑cause analysis to identify true root cause.
• Experience with Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical engineering departments and activities.
• Proven Project Management skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of structured problem solving and CI across sites.
• Lead Red X, lean and six‑sigma transformation projects end‑to‑end.
• Identify, prioritize, and achieve project goals across operations.
• Coach stakeholders and teams on lean initiatives and change management.
• Develop training on Red X, Critical Thinking, and lean tools.
• Establish KPIs, monitor progress, and track savings or impact.
• Utilize PM tools to manage projects and ensure sustainability.
