Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Site Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt Lead to guide LSS practices across operations and assist in strategy development. The role oversees LSS projects, mentors Green/Black Belt candidates, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement at the site.

Responsibilities include driving affordability and efficiency, building a CI strategy, and leading LSS review meetings while ensuring alignment with leadership objectives. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with professional experience.
• LSS certifications at Green and Black Belt levels preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site with measurable results.
• Develop and implement a Continuous Improvement strategy to reduce unit cost and improve efficiency.
• Motivate and engage employees in Continuous Improvement efforts and align with site goals.
• Lead site LSS review meetings and manage Site Excellence Plans.
• Provide guidance to Green Belt and Black Belt candidates and lead training.
